Rapid Iterative Prototyping with iOS Simulator
March 23, 2011
I’ve been using the iOS Simulator a ton as I initially design sites on my Mac. This helps with quickly seeing how the site will behave as the simulator switches orientation. Now, I’m not developing sites just for the ipad or iphone but this will give me a good idea how I can tweak the typography and responsiveness for both as well as give me a sneak peek at how another mobile device might look.
A nice little feature I like to use is hitting command plus the left or right arrow keys to quickly change the orientation of the simulated device.
